What are the dates and times? We have three workshops to choose from this January:
Week 1: Mon 11th - Weds 13th
Week 2: Mon 18th - Weds 21st
Week 3: Mon 25th - Weds 27th
Workshops run from 10am–3pm, with a special performance at 2.15pm on the final day. Bookings are for the full three days, single day bookings are not available.
Where is the workshop held? Duggan Pavilion, Cowaramup. Please note that supervised outdoor play/lunch takes place on the adjoining picnic green as part of the program.
What will my child actually be doing? Kids will learn dances and songs from the show, play team games, and take part in creative activities. It is a fun, low-pressure introduction to musical theatre rather than a formal rehearsal environment. On the final day, we finish with an informal showcase for parents.
My child has never done singing or dancing before . Is that ok? Yes! There is no experience needed. It’s simply about building confidence and having fun.
Do I need to book for all 3 days, or can I book single days? Bookings include the full three days, single day bookings are not available.

How many children are in each workshop, and what's the supervision ratio? We cap numbers at 30 children per workshop with a 1:7 ratio of experienced supervisors.
Are your staff background checked? Yes, all staff and assistants hold a current Working with Children Check, as required under WA law, and we maintain a written child safety code of conduct for all activities.
Will my child be outside at any point? Yes, lunchtime includes supervised outdoor play on the picnic green next to the hall. Children remain within clearly defined boundaries and under direct staff supervision at all times. In the event of poor weather, lunch moves inside.
What happens if my child has an accident or feels unwell? Our lead staff member holds current First Aid and Anaphylaxis/Asthma management certification, and we have a fully stocked first aid kit on-site. You'll be contacted immediately for anything beyond minor first aid.
Are smart phones/tablets allowed? We ask that children do not bring personal phones, tablets, or smart watches with camera/messaging functions to the workshop. If your child needs a phone for after-hours contact (for example, walking home independently), we request that they hand it to a staff member at drop-off for safekeeping, it will be returned at pick-up. If there is personal or medical reason why this rule cannot be adhered to, please notify us in advance so we can make individual arrangements.
-
My child has allergies or a medical condition. What do you need to know? Please detail this fully on the booking form, including any action plan, medication, or EpiPen/inhaler your child needs on-site.
Is food provided, or does my child need to bring lunch? Please pack a labelled lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Lunch may be eaten outdoors, so please let us know of any allergies so we can manage shared spaces appropriately.
